The Course is facilitated by the Regional Center for Energy Policy Research (REKK) led by Prof. Peter Kaderjak, Director of REKK, former Chairman of ERRA and President of the Hungarian Energy Office, Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Instructors of the course are predominantly practicing and past energy regulators with significant and noteworthy energy regulatory experience and expertise. The course is designed to assure the utmost transfer of practices and information from experienced regulators to course participants. This characteristic allows ERRA to design training courses that focus equally on practical application and theoretical methodology and include the transfer of relevant direct experience.
The course will have two tracks : one for regulators and another one for non-regulators . The two tracks run parallel with occasional joint classes and exercises. In addition to the formal classes presented by the instructors, the course will feature preparatory homeworks , practical exercises, simulations , participant case studies and a final test.
