- Energy Market Reform Issues in Emerging/Transition Economies
- Licensing and Legal Aspects of Regulation

Design of the Course:
Instructors of the course are predominantly practicing and past energy regulators with significant and noteworthy energy regulatory experience and expertise. The course is designed to assure the utmost transfer of practices and information from experienced regulators to course participants. This characteristic allows ERRA to design training courses that focus equally on practical application and theoretical methodology and include the transfer of relevant direct experience.
The course will have two tracks: one for regulators and another one for non-regulators. The two tracks run parallel with occasional joint classes and exercises.
In addition to the formal classes presented by the instructors, the course will feature preparatory homeworks, practical exercises, simulations, participant case studies and a final test.
Course Faculty Team:
The Course is facilitated by the Regional Center for Energy Policy Research (REKK). Prof. Peter Kaderjak, Director of REKK was Chairman of ERRA and President of the Hungarian Energy Office. Currently he teaches at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
In addition to REKK, classes are expected to be taught by practicing international regulators.
Target Audience:
Track I is exclusively designed for practicing energy regulators, admission is provided only to regulators;
Track II is available to non-regulators such as ministry and local government representatives, banking institutions, law and investment firms, consulting companies and regulated utility companies
Each Track is limited to 30 participants so we suggest early registration!
