Leadership is a topic that directly impacts the effectiveness of an organization.

This Leadership Seminar will focus on two aspects:

  • The role of mixed cultures in an organization. In today’s global environment all leaders need skill in cooperating with a cross-cultural set of colleagues.
  • Leadership training should be linked to measurable increases in effectiveness. An organization’s human resources have a direct link to productivity. But there is also an indirect relationship, through changes in performance, that impacts effectiveness, as well.

The course is designed to help managers to identify their strengths in gathering information, making decisions and professional/social settings and to gain insight into the communication and operating styles of their colleagues. This course will utilize the Myers-Briggs Inventory of Traits (MBTI) as a tool to measure participant attitudes toward leadership. The MBTI emphasizes preferences for gathering information, making decisions and preferred social/professional settings. By understanding our own MBTI types, we can better recognize when we are using our strengths properly. Participants will take the MBTI test prior to the course and the results will be discussed during the course. The leadership course (and MBTI test) will be in English and Russian.
